About me

I'm a full-stack developer and Lead Software Architect — Short-Term Consultant (STC) at the World Bank, with 8 years of experience building web and mobile applications and backend services. My work has grown from frontend development into end-to-end solution architecture, technical leadership, and delivery. Previously, I worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Sabre Corporation.

At the World Bank, I lead architecture and technical delivery across mobile and backend systems. My work includes API contracts, security standards, cloud environments, deployment strategies, and engineering practices. I architected BLE beacon proximity and vehicle-verification workflows with GPS fallback for reliable location matching, and guide teams from proof of concept through production delivery.

My core stack spans React, Next.js, AngularJS, React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express, supported by MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis. I enjoy solving complex problems, guiding developers, and connecting application design with reliable APIs, testing, CI/CD, and release management.

My production AI experience includes integrating an authenticated OpenAI-powered chat interface in Be Designer, an enterprise web product, using company-provided context. Alongside product integration, I use AI-assisted development tools for implementation, debugging, documentation, and review.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, and cooking. I am also passionate about learning new things and currently exploring history and philosophy.

I integrated the OpenAI-powered chat interface into Be Designer using company-provided context. My work connects the frontend experience, API integration, and authenticated interactions within the existing enterprise product. I also developed the themes module to support the SBEM rewrite and hotel booking-engine customization.

Request project details for Njiani Bangladesh Bus-Safety Platform

I work as the Lead Software Architect for the Bangladesh adaptation of Njiani, leading mobile and backend architecture, API contracts, security, localization, deployment, and developer coordination. The platform combines BLE verification with live bus and passenger GPS data, backed by MongoDB geospatial data, to identify vehicles and preserve journey tracking when BLE is unavailable. I have delivered and stabilized authentication, route and bus discovery, nearby-bus APIs, journey services, English/Bangla responses, staging deployment, and Android beta distribution through Firebase.

Engineering challenge: Reliable bus identification and journey continuity when BLE signals are unavailable or unreliable.

What I did

  • End-to-end technical architecture

    Led architecture across the React Native application, Node.js backend, MongoDB data model, integrations, and cloud environments.

  • BLE vehicle verification

    Designed a beacon verification workflow to identify and validate the passenger’s selected bus through proximity signals.

  • GPS fallback & route matching

    Architected a mechanism that compares mobile and bus locations to support route matching and journey tracking when BLE detection is unavailable or unreliable.

  • Architecture & delivery planning

    Defined architecture decisions, API contracts, data flows, security requirements, and implementation roadmaps from proof of concept to pilot.

  • Backend services

    Developed authentication, nearby-bus, route, stop, route-based bus discovery, live-location, and passenger-journey services.

  • Shared location data

    Established a shared location architecture so nearby-bus discovery, route selection, selected-bus tracking, and journeys use the same underlying data.

  • English & Bangla localization

    Added localized API responses, including translated success messages, validation feedback, and errors.

  • Frontend–backend coordination

    Coordinated integration, reviewed mobile implementation progress, and guided developers on API consumption and release readiness.

  • Staging & operations

    Configured MongoDB Atlas, staging deployment, environment-based configuration, API testing collections, and health monitoring.

I work on Reserval’s B2B partner channel in a Next.js monolith shared with the consumer site. Licensed agencies onboard through domain-verified signup and OTP, then manage composite package bookings, role-based access, company wallets and markup, and post-booking application and visa tracking. Partner headers and booking paths stay isolated from the public B2C site.

Engineering challenge: Keeping B2B authentication and booking context separate from a shared consumer application, in English and Arabic.

What I did

  • Partner authentication & sessions

    Shipped and stabilized domain-verified signup, OTP, cookies, API routes, and route guards so partner and consumer authentication flows stay separate.

  • Flight + Hotel + Visa bookings

    Reused core flight and hotel flows in a composite booking stepper with partner headers and business context, Ministry-aligned visa/OCR, questionnaires, session timers, and wallet/card payment.

  • Agency operations

    Delivered dashboard and account flows for applications, visa status, wallet/top-up, employees and permissions, reports, and company profiles.

  • English, Arabic & RTL

    Stabilized /en/partner and /ar/partner journeys, including RTL fixes across partner navigation, calendars, and forms.

  • Partner onboarding guides

    Built a markdown and screenshot pipeline for English and Arabic PDF guides to support agency training and rollout.
